Please note that if you are using
a multi-purpose printer (these generally function as a printer,
copier and scanner combined), it will not be able to print
our coupons. This is due to safeguards put in place to prevent
fraudulent copying or reproduction of the coupons. (Most
of our coupons have set print limits per household.)
If your printer fails to print
the coupons, please contact Customer Service by clicking
on the Contact Us at the bottom of this page. In your message,
include the following information:
1) Which coupon(s) were you trying
to print? (Please list the specific brand and item.)
2) Which operating system do you
use? (Examples: Macintosh, Windows 2000, Windows XP -- If
you are using Windows XP, please let us know if you are
using Windows XP service pack 2.)

Internet Explorer 6, Netscape Navigator 7, AOL 9)
4) Do you have any spyware removal
software installed on your computer? If so, which one? (Examples:
Spyblaster, Norton Firewall, etc.)
5) What make and model of printer
do you use? (Please let us know if it is a multi-function
printer. These generally function as a printer, scanner,
copier, etc.)
6) Where do you print coupons from?
Home, work, a public computer?
Q: My
Internet Security Program Is Blocking the Coupon Manager
Installation, What Do I Do?
A: If you have an Internet security
program, the program is most likely blocking the download
of Coupon Manager and/or blocking your computer from detecting
that Coupon Manager is indeed installed on your machine.
The Coupon Manager is not spyware and does not track your
Internet activity in any way; however, some Internet security
programs are very conservative in nature and err on the
side of caution by not allowing the download of some non-spyware
files.
If any additional Internet security
programs are installed on your computer, you may need to
configure them to allow the download of the Coupon Manager.
Please check in the settings of the security program to
see if there is a place to enable ActiveX controls (for
Internet Explorer users) or plug-ins (for Netscape, Mozilla
or Firefox users). Once you enable the download and running
of ActiveX controls or plug-ins in that program, please
close out of the program, open a new browser and try downloading
the Coupon Manager again.
Q: Do
I Need A Special Printer?
A: The I Can Grocery Shop Coupon
Manager is designed to work with inkjet, bubble jet, and
laser printers.
Advertisers have requested that
the printed coupons be at least 300 x 300 dpi resolution
in order to scan correctly at the stores. When you print
coupons, make sure that your default printer settings are
NOT set to draft mode or low-resolution printing. Draft
mode may give a printing resolution that is under 300 dpi,
which results in the printer error.
Using a multi-function printer?
Unfortunately, these printers are not compatible with printing
our coupons at this time. (These printers generally function
as a printer, photocopier and scanner all in one.) They
are not compatible due to safeguards put in place to prevent
fraudulent copying or reproduction of the coupons. (Most
of our coupons have set print limits per household.)
Q: What do
I do if my printer jams during printing and I lose my coupon?
A: If you lose any coupons due
to printer problems, please contact Member Services by clicking
the Contact Us link on the bottom of this page. Please include
a description of the coupons you were trying to print and
the name and model of your printer so that we can better
assist you.
Q: What
do I do if the store doesn't accept my coupons?
A: We are sorry to hear of any
trouble you encountered with redeeming an I Can Grocery
Shop coupon. Occasionally we do receive reports of cashiers
or managers not accepting coupons if they are not familiar
with our Web site or coupons printed from the Internet.
In order to better answer your
question regarding retailers that accept our printable coupons,
please answer the following questions:
1) Which area do you live in? (Please
include the closest city.)
2) Which retail stores do you shop
at? We will provide you with a list of retailers to our
best knowledge that will accept printable coupons in your
area.
Q: Why
did the coupon disappear after I printed it?
A: Once an offer has been printed
enough times to reach its limit, a pair of scissors will
appear where the offer appeared previously. Once you leave
that page, the offer will no longer appear anywhere on the
site.
Q: How many
coupons can I print?
A: There is no limit to the number
of different coupons you can print. However, some retailers
may choose to limit the number of times that you can print
a particular offer. Some offers are limited to one print
per household, whereas others have higher limits. Once you
have printed a coupon to its limit, it will no longer appear
in your list of available coupons.
Q: Can I
use WebTV with I Can Grocery Shop?
A: Unfortunately you may not access
our online coupons because usage requires the use of a downloaded,
executable program. This requirement means that your system
is incompatible with our Coupon Manager. We're sorry that
you are not able to use the Coupon Manager with your current
system.
